"And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the Body of Christ. " Ephesians 4:11-12
"Providing durable technical equipment for communicating the Gospel Worldwide"
The ministry of Galcom International has a unique way of sending the Gospel message to those who have never heard, using modern technology. Our goal is to help churches and mission organizations send out the Gospel with radio and other hi-tech tools for the harvest. Started only fourteen years ago this ministry has indeed sent the Gospel to the uttermost parts of the earth. Galcom International USA, Inc. is the "not for profit" organization in the US that works together with Galcom International in Canada to send "GO-YE" radios (as well as some other "Hi-Tech" tools for the harvest) out onto the mission field.
Since 1989 we have distributed over 420,000 fix-tuned radios to the mission field in 116 countries around the world. Our goal is to have a part in fulfilling the great commission that Jesus gave to his disciples in Matt. 28:19 and Acts 1:8, to GO-YE into all nations; unto the uttermost part of the earth with the Gospel. This job is not for only the mission agencies but was given to all who would follow Him and call themselves His disciples. Not everyone is able to "Go Ye" into all the world as a missionary but by sending one or more "GO YE" radios a month to unreached people, all contributors (partners) have a part in fulfilling the great commission. Many people who receive our radios can't read but can listen to the Gospel.
All of these radios are fix-tuned (non-tunable) to a Christian radio station which broadcasts into their area. We provide these radios to major Christian broadcasters and to the small, low-powered local radio stations that we help install for distribution into their broadcast areas. Our radios have been made in Israel by the Galtronics, a company based in Haifa and Tiberius over-looking the Sea of Galilee. The demand has now grown to a point that in 1995 we began producing radios in Hamilton, Canada.
